Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to apply?
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent; mature students without formal qualifications may be considered. English proficiency is required for all online programs. Applicants should submit transcripts and a completed application form. Some programs may have additional requirements, such as recommendations or a statement of purpose.
How can I afford this?
Tuition is discounted for student pastor/spiritual leaders, reflecting our commitment to accessible theological education. Many in-person courses are offered at little to no cost, and online programs require minimal overhead payments. We absorb much of the cost to support our mission.
What about books?
In-country programs will have all books and/or required reading material provided free of cost.
What is Global Campus?
Carey International University of Theology’s Global Campus offers English-language programs (B.T.S, M.T.S, M.Div., and D.Min.) through a facilitated, online format that combines discussion, presentations, and case studies. Programs are designed to equip pastors for leadership in the church, with students progressing in cohorts that move through the curriculum together. Participants need strong English skills, reliable internet, a computer or tablet, and flexibility to engage across time zones.
What is DTL2?
Digital Theological Library II is an online library and research database that gives Global Campus students access to thousands of theological books, journals, and academic resources. Access to DTL2 is included with a small registration fee, which provides students with full use of this essential study tool.
